Kaipara Flats

We are a rural community in the middle of New Zealand at it’s narrowest point, between Kaipara Harbour in the West and Hauraki Gulf in the East. We encompass a local area which includes Kaipara Hills to our North-West, bordered by the villages of Tauroa, Ahuroa and Glorit, with our local town Warkworth on State Highway 1 to the East.

Traditionally a farming area, the community still produces some of New Zealand’s most iconic agriculture including Dairy, Wool, Beef and Lamb. Befitting a part of New Zealand that is famous for Kauri, we still have thousands of hectares of Pine and logging trucks are a common sight along our rural roads. Only 45 minutes from Auckland’s Harbour Bridge. On a good day.
